Stop living vicariously.

The idea of traveling as far south as I could started after returning from my first motorcycle trip to Mexico. After not being attacked by banditos but the hospitality of a people who were happy to have you visit their country, I realized that it was time to see the world.  It isn't hard.  It isn't expensive.  It isn't too dangerous.  You just have to realize that traveling for more than a week isn't like being on vacation.  You do things for yourself, stay in humble accommodations, and just take your time.    

For me, half of the fun is the actual preparation.   I love reading other people's blog, gear reviews, and travel forums.  It is my catalyst.

In addition to motorcycle adventures, I enjoy backpacking, flying, building things, and a multitude of random hobbies.
